The automaker will reveal 2012 Escape by the end of this year. It is expected to be facelifted with a sports utility vehicle style. This vehicle will come to showrooms in late 2011 or early 2012.

As per the automaker, the first commercial model will be marketed at the North American Automobile Show.

Fuel Efficiency

2012 Escape will be redesigned with new body enhancements. Since the vehicle is in medium size and lower style, it delivers decent fuel economy. Due to the vehicle’s fuel efficiency, owners need not spend more money for fuel.



Ford is planning to market the vehicle around the world. This is the only sports utility vehicle available in the list of best-selling automobiles.

Performance

When compared to the previous model’s engine, the new vehicle’s engine has been improved significantly. It is powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine, which is integrated with advanced Ecoboost technology. The new vehicle will be available in hybrid version also.

Safety

The engineers designed and developed this vehicle with some new features. You can find great level of safety in this vehicle.



It is equipped with 4-wheel antilock braking system, curtain side airbags, front airbags, antiskid system, traction control, and a back blade suspension system.
