The latest scoop says Ford is launching an all new 4 door SUV, Ford Escape 2012. It is lased with the unmatched towing capability and impeccable killer looks.

Engine and Transmission

The heavy SUV comes with 2.5 liter DOHC inline 4 cylinder engine with 16 variable valves. The model comes with front wheel drive and has a gas based engine, which is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission.

The suspensions available in the edition are MacPherson strut front suspension, multi-link rear suspension and four-wheel independent suspension. Also the model features cargo tie downs and the maximum towing capacity is 1500 pounds.

Exterior, Interior and Safety

The heavy Escape stands on alloy wheels of 16 by 7 inches and has P235/70R16 all season tires. The other features include variable intermittent wipers, rear defogger and rear window wiper. Under the roof of the body we bucket style front seats, rear ventilation ducts, remote power door locks, power window, cruise control, front door pockets, air conditioning and cargo area light amongst other features. Escape takes care of safety with features like 4 wheel ABS, front and rear headbags, child seat anchors, stability control and traction control.



The MSRP of Ford Escape 2012 is $21,300 and at such an affordable price it gives you almost all the goodies you expect in a big SUV.
