These seat covers are manufactured with the heavier thread and are not well-matched with seats equipped with the side airbags. The heavier seat cover in the vehicle could interfere with airbag at crash time.

Consequence

An inappropriately deployed airbag in the vehicle could result in severe injury. Marathon has notified all the owners and the seat covers were replaced. The safety recall has started on September 14, 2010.
